Aneby Skatepark
About Aneby Skatepark
Aneby Skatepark—usually called Skateparken locally—is a wooden ramp park near the center of Aneby, Sweden, beside municipal sports grounds and schools close to Aneby SK’s football pitches and a short walk from Aneby station. While many newer Swedish municipalities have poured concrete plazas, Aneby keeps a traditional wood-and-composite build on a flat asphalt pad, which many riders like for pop and slightly more forgiving slams than raw concrete. The layout is a classic back-and-forth line: a large quarter pipe at one end and a steep bank at the other, with a central funbox that includes a grind box–style ledge and a flat rail, plus a standalone wooden mini-ramp and manual pads with additional flat rails for drill work. Access is free and open to the public. Wood can ride slick with dew or after rain, so most locals wait for a fully dry surface. Crowds stay modest—comfortable for beginners—and the park pairs well with a Småland road trip as an old-school contrast to larger concrete facilities in places such as Mullsjö or Jönköping.
