About Oak Hill Skatepark
Oak Hill Skatepark in West Virginia is a modern 10,000-square-foot concrete facility within the renovated Oak Hill City Park. Opened in 2021, it was designed and built by American Ramp Company (Pivot Custom) to replace older modular equipment with a permanent, professional-grade concrete park. The layout is a street-transition hybrid with a flow-oriented design that supports continuous lines and speed retention. Transition elements include quarter pipes of varying heights and a prominent bank-to-wall feature. Street-plaza components include a flat bar, multiple ledges (including hubba/out-ledge style features), a manual pad, and a stair set with handrail. Signature terrain includes a China-bank style incline and concrete pump/volcano-style bumps for momentum. The facility includes professional LED lighting for evening sessions and is connected to the White Oak Rail Trail via an ADA-accessible walkway. It is a ride-at-your-own-risk park and is open to skateboards, scooters, in-line skates, and BMX bikes using plastic or covered pegs to protect the concrete.
