About Piotrowski Skatepark
Piotrowski Skatepark (within Lillian Piotrowski Park) is a compact community skatepark in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. The spot is known for a dense technical layout and a local under-the-radar vibe that supports progression and line-based street skating. Located near 31st Street and Keeler Avenue in the northern part of the park, the facility combines street and transition terrain in a smaller footprint. Core elements include a central funbox/pyramid feature, multiple hubba and ledge options, flat and down rail lines, perimeter quarter pipes and banks, and a modest concrete bowl with metal coping. Compared with ultra-polished destination-style parks, the surface here is generally smooth but with slightly more texture/grip, which many local riders prefer for technical transition control. Lighting is present through standard park fixtures, and the park is regularly used for neighborhood sessions and community-oriented events.
