About Tanzanite Skatepark

Tanzanite Skatepark is a 12,000-square-foot outdoor concrete skatepark located inside Tanzanite Community Park in Northwest Sacramento. Designed by legendary skatepark pioneer Wally Hollyday and built by California Skateparks in the mid-2000s, the park combines a deep transition-focused bowl section with a classic street course layout. The park’s standout features include a multi-pocket clover bowl, an over-vert capsule extension, stair sets, ledges, an A-frame rail, manual pads, and sloped banks that create fast, flowing lines for both transition and street skating. Free and open daily, Tanzanite remains one of Sacramento’s classic all-concrete skateparks.
