Swenson Park Skatepark

Swenson Park Skatepark in Glenview is a smaller, beginner-friendly modular skatepark built on a large asphalt pad with prefabricated ramps and street obstacles. Open daily from 8:00 AM to sunset, the park is known for its mellow layout and approachable progression features. Highlights include a highly praised 3-foot mini ramp with a small quarter pipe launch box, standard quarter pipes at each end of the park, a long flat rail, a curved ledge, and multiple skate benches and boxes for street-style skating. The smooth asphalt surface helps riders maintain speed between obstacles, making it a popular spot for newer skaters learning transition and street fundamentals. The park also features a public skate tool repair station with attached tools for quick hardware adjustments. Helmets are required by the Glenview Park District for all riders using the facility.
